their safety or if they have been instructed with
regard to safe use of the appliance and have
understood the dangers that can result from
use of the appliance. The appliance is not a
toy. Children should only clean and maintain
the appliance under supervision.
2. Children under the age of 3 should stay away
from the appliance or they must be under con-
stant supervision.
3. Children between the ages of 3 and 8 should
only switch the appliance on and off when it is
in its normal intended operating position, they
are supervised or have been instructed relative
to safe use of the appliance and have under-
stood the hazards that can result from using
the product. Children between 3 and 8 years
of age should neither connect or operate the
appliance, nor should they clean or maintain
the appliance.
4. CAUTION – parts of this product can become
very hot and cause burn injuries! Be particu-
larly careful if children or persons at risk are
present.
5. Children should be supervised to ensure that
they do not play with the appliance.
6. This appliance must not be operated with an
external timer or a remote control system.
7. Do not immerse the appliance in water or other
liquids. Protect the appliance from moisture.
8. Ensure that the power cord does not come into
contact with hot parts of appliance.
9. Always ensure that the power cord is laid out
its entire length to prevent damage due to
overheating.
10. To unplug the appliance, only pull on the plug,
never pull directly on the power cord.
11. As additional protection, we recommend
installation of a residual current device (RCD/
FI) with a tripping characteristic of not more
than 30 mA in the bathroom power circuit.

12. The appliance is intended for household use
only; it is not designed for commercial require-
ments.
