3. Children are not allowed to perform cleaning and user
maintenance, unless they are 8 years of age or older and are
supervised.
4. Keep the appliance and the power cord out of the reach of
children under 8 years of age.
5. CAUTION – parts of this product can become very hot and
cause burn injuries! Particular caution is required if children or
persons at risk are present.
6. Children should be supervised in order to ensure that they do not
play with the appliance.
7. Before connecting the appliance please check if the voltage
selector is adjusted to the right voltage (115/220-240 V~).
8. Do not operate this appliance with an external timer or remote
control system.
9. The appliance may never be immersed in water or other liquids.
Keep the appliance dry.
10. For security reasons never use the appliance close to or in a
bathtub or washbasin or any other receptacle filled with water.
11. Make sure that the lead cable does not touch hot parts of the
appliance.
12. Unroll the lead cable completely to avoid damage caused by
overheating.
13. Always disconnect the lead cable from the wall socket pulling on
the plug, never on the cable.
14. Additionally we recommend to install a fault-current protective
device (RCD/FI) with a conventional design tripping current of no
more than 30 mA in the bathroom electric circuit. Get personal
advice from your electrician.
15. The appliance is intended for domestic use only, not for
commercial use.
16. The appliance is not intended for outdoor use.
17. During operation keep sufficient distance to the walls and
flammable objects like e.g. curtains.
18. Do not operate the appliance near any heat source.
19. Make sure that the air intake screen of the appliance is always
uncovered. Clean the air intake screen regularly.
20. Never cover the air intake screen with your hand or any other
objects.
21. For safety reasons do not use the appliance to style artificial
hair.
22. Keep the appliance away from ears and face to avoid burns.
23. Do not use any hair spray while the appliance is still working.
