Use 2 LRO 3 AAA (1.5V) batteries. Do not use rechargeable batteries. Replace
old batteries with new ones of the same type when the remote control display is
not legible.
Do not dispose of batteries in the general waste container. Batteries should be
recycled in the appropriate container.
After adjusting the function, the batteries must be removed and the procedure
described above repeated.
When you first insert the batteries into the remote control or if you replace them, you
need to program the remote control in cool mode only or cool and heat.
When you insert the batteries, the hot and cool symbols will flash on the remote
control display. By pressing any button when the cool icon appears, the AC will be
set to cool mode. Conversely, by pressing any button on the remote when the heat
symbol appears on the display, the remote control will be set to cold and heat mode.
If you set the remote control to cool mode, it will not be possible to use the
device in heat mode. To change the operating mode you must remove the
batteries and repeat the process described above by selecting the cold and heat
mode.
