7. Warranty
Unitek Europe, guarantees to the final Primo user of its product(s), that it’s UPS Products and Surge Protectors: (a)
Are conform to Unitek Specifications; (b) Are exempt of any defects which may have occurred during the fabrication
stage. Unitek, at its own discretion, engages to undertake all repairs which may have been caused by an unlikely faulty
Unitek UPS or surge suppressor, and this, despite the fact that the Product(s) has (have) been correctly installed and
commissioned. The defects which are due to normal tear and wear over time and the defects which are due to
improper installation and connection are not covered under this warranty.

HAT THE WARRANTY COVERS
:
We warrant this product to be free from defects in material and workmanship during the warranty period. If a product
proves to be defective in material or workmanship during the warranty period, we will at our sole option repair or
replace the product with a like product.

OW LONG THE WARRANTY IS EFFECTIVE
:
This warranty is valid for 2 years worldwide for all parts and labor from the date of the first consumer purchase.

HO THE WARRANTY PROTECTS
:
This warranty is valid only for the first consumer purchaser.
IV)

HAT THE WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER
:
1. Any product on which the serial number has been defaced, modified or removed.
2. Damage, deterioration or malfunction resulting from : (a) Accident, misuse, neglect, fire, water, lightning, or other
acts of nature, unauthorized product modification, or failure to follow instructions supplied with the product (b)
Repair or attempted repair by anyone not authorized (c) Any damage of the product due to shipment (d) Removal or
installation of the product (e) Causes external to the product, such as electric power fluctuations or failure (f) Use of
supplies or parts not meeting our specifications (g) Normal wear and tear (h) Any other cause which does not relate
to a product defect.

OW TO GET SERVICE
:
1.Take or ship the product prepaid in the original container to your dealer or any authorized service center.
2. To obtain warranty service, you will be required to provide (a) the original dated sales slip, (b) your name, (c) your
address and (d) a description of the problem.
3. For additional information or the name of the nearest service center, contact your dealer.

We do not recommend the use of our UPS products for life support equipment or direct care where failure of a UPS
product could cause failure of or diminished effectiveness of the life support equipment or patient care.
