PANEL COMPATIBILITY
The UNIMPPT uses Buck Synchrone technology. It lowers the panel voltage into a lower value voltage for
the battery. The regulator turns on when the PV voltage (Voc) exceeds the battery voltage by more than
+5V.
The regulator will turn off when the PV voltage (Voc) is less than Vbat +1V.
Check before connecting
The maximum PV voltage in open circuit of the panel(s) in series (Voc)
may not exceed 60V
for the UNIMPPT 60/15.24
A higher voltage can damage the regulator.
This damage is not covered by the warranty.
It’s charging intensity is a
15A 24V charge
Panel power
The peak power of the solar panels is given according to normalized test conditions(STC): 1000W/m²
solar radiation, cell temperature at 25°C.
In standard usage, the normal operating cell temperature (NOCT) is 45°C +/- 2% and solar radiation is
800W/m². A 150W panel produces, as shown below, in reality 100W. The UNIMPPT 30.10/12S, which
can convert output upto 150W, is perfectly suited for panel power up to 150W* with a 12V battery.
*Voltage Uocv of panel(s) = 60V max.
