BEFORE USE

Unpack the appliance and all the accessories. Clean Lid (1), Steam Baskets (4) and the Basket
Bottoms (5) as well as the Container (12) with water and little tableware detergent before the first
use. Dry the parts.

Place the Base (11) on an even surface. The appliance must have an appropriate distance from fur-
niture, walls and other articles. For safety reasons, keep children well away from the appliance.

Check that the voltage on the appliance rating plate corresponds to the voltage on your mains sup-
ply meter (230 V, 50 Hz).

Water filling

1. Fill water by the Refill Hole (7) up to the maximum water level mark, or
2. Fill water directly into the Water Container (12) up to the max water level mark.

Note!

Never fill other liquid into the Water Container (12) and do not give additional ingredients e.g.

spices to the water.

Place the Drip Pan (6) on the Base (11).

APPLIANCE USE
Steam Baskets (4)

You can combine the Steam Baskets (4) and/or Basket Bottoms (5) depending upon desire.

Place the large pieces, which need a longer cooking time, in the Lower Steam Basket (4c).

Man can cook different food in one process. Make sure however that the flavors complement each
other.

Food with different cooking time

Place the food, which need a longer cooking time, in the Lower Steam Basket (4c). As soon as the
Timer (9) reaches the time for food with shorter cooking time, remove the Lid (1) with a cloth and
place the Middle Steam Basket (4b) on the Lower Basket (4c). Replace the Lid (1).

Large food

You can remove Basket Bottoms (5) (press upward) and build from 2 Baskets (4) a Larger Steam
Basket (4).

Note!

The Lower Basket (4c) must be used with Lower Bottom (5c).

The caves on the Basket Bottoms (5) are practical for food such as eggs.

Start-up

Fill water in the appliance and plug it in. Turn the Knob (9) and choose the cooking time. The Knob (9)
connects with the timer, which can set 1 hour cooking time. So the max cooking time is 1 hour. Turn
the Knob (9) and choose the operating time. At the same time the light turns on and the appliance
starts working. While the Knob (9) returns to the start place, an acoustic signal sounds (one “ding”).

Switch off the appliance after the use and unplug it from the mains supply socket. Remove the
Steam Baskets (4) with the help of a cloth. Let the appliance completely cool down, before you
store it.

Boil dry cut-out

If the Base (11) is accidentally switched on empty or boils dry, the thermostat turns off and the
heater element stops working. If you refill water after dry out, the thermostat turns on and the
heater element goes on to work. In this process, the light is on until the cooking time is over.
