8. To avoid the damage to skin, extra care should be taken when using the clipper without the Comb
Guide (4). If the Comb Guide (4) becomes damaged or broken, cease use immediately and
replace, further use could result in cut or scratched skin.

10. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their
safety.

APPLIANCE USE
Operating the clipper
Fit the Comb Guide (4) if required. Push the ON/OFF Switch (5) into the
position you need. When finished clipping, always turn the clipper off.
Comb Guide (4)
Press by the palm of your hand against the blade guard and push
the Comb (4) onto the blade. Precaution should be taken
when pressing palm of hand against the Comb (4).
This Comb Guide (4) cutting lengths are between
10 mm and 40 mm.
How to recharge the unit
To recharge, turn the clipper to the OFF (5) position and plug the Adaptor (8) into the receptacle at the
bottom of the unit, then plug the Adaptor (8) into the socket, make sure that the voltage of the main
supply corresponds to the supply voltage of the Adaptor (8). The batteries will start charging. If
charging for the first time the unit must be charged for a minimum 16 hours. After recharging the unit,
disconnect the power supply.
NOTE:
The appliance can be used when charging. The power supply may become slightly warm; this
does not indicate a malfunction.
Recharging precautions:
1. To ensure maximum battery life:
DO NOT continuously recharge the unit for periods longer than 24 hours.
DO NOT operate the unit using power supply if batteries are fully charged.
We suggest that you fully discharge and then recharge the unit. Let the unit run until it stops, switch
off and then charge.
2. Disconnect the unit from the power source when recharging is completed.
CARE AND CLEANING
Clean the hair clipper and the blades using the Cleaning Brush (9) supplied. Wipe the unit with a clean,
dry cloth.
Maintenance
Oil the Upper Blade (2) after each use to maintain cutting performance.
Storage
Always unplug when the appliance is not in use. Do not wrap the adaptor cord around the Adaptor (8)
as this may cause the cord to wear out prematurely and break. Always store the unit in a dry location
Hair trimming tip
1. To start the hair trim, comb the hair so it falls in its natural direction, the way the person has been
wearing it.
