A LED is polarized
. if you look closely, has one flat
side which indicates the negative side (-). Match the
flat side of the LED to the flat side of the print on
the PCB.
Another tip: The long leg within electronics often
indicates the positive side (+).
Make sure that the flat side (with the short leg) is
on the south side of the print.
