Exchanging the Compression Spring
•
Press the brass spring guide pin (1) downward using the flat blade of a screw
driver, until the notch of the pin disengages from the axis pin (2)
•
Re-Installation: Put the notch of the spring guide pin from below into the axis pin.
Push the head of the spring guide housing with your thumb into the receptacle of
the lower joint section.
Compensating for Mediolateral Movement
Remove the safety plate, tighten the axis nut (wrench size 17 mm) and secure by
installing the safety plate afterwards.
6.3 Alignment and Adjustment JT03
•
The axis of rotation of the Modular Knee Joint JT03 is to position to the back by 12
mm with respect to the weight bearing line of the prosthesis.
•
The Modular Knee Joint JT03 is already adjusted by the manufacturer, so it is ready
to be installed.
•
In the locking position the knee joint JT03 has no movement. A later adjustment of
the locking mechanism is not possible.

7. Maintenance and Cleaning
The function of the prosthetic knee joint must be checked at regular intervals of no
more than 12 months.
In the case of intensive use, we recommend a review, if necessary at shorter intervals.
Maintenance or repair must be carried out when necessary.
The monocentric knee joints can be cleaned with a mild cleanser and
a damp (<30°C).
Do not use any aggressive cleansers.
8. CE- Conformity
The product satisfies the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2017/745 of the European
Parliament and of the Council (MDR) and bears the CE mark. All major incidents related
to the product needs to be informed to Uniprox and the competence European
Authority.
9. Warranty and Guarantee
Depending on the degree of usage, the knee joints can generally be used for 5 years
with regular maintenance.
Warranty is provided under the terms of sale and supply of Uniprox GmbH & Co. KG
provided that the above conditions are met.
10. Storage and Disposal
This product has no special storage regulations.
The product is disposable with standard household garbage.
