8. Replacement procedures
The most frequent service operations will be exchanging defective boards rather than repairing
them.
When handling static sensitive devices such as PC boards of the Phyaciton V, the following
precautions should be observed:
- Persons should be earthed by means of a wrist strap.
- Ground all electrical equipment, work bench, soldering iron…
This chapter will explain how to open the unit and remove the PCB’s for exchange.
8.1 Opening the unit
Step 1 : Remove the 2 bolt at the back of the unit
