Operation

Nail guns launch fasteners at very high velocities that can cause serious injury if proper safety
precautions are not followed.

It is extremely important that you read and fully understand the

information in this section and all other safety warnings / recommendations and usage instructions
before using the equipment

•

ENSURE THAT NO PART OF ANY HUMAN, ANIMAL OR CLOTHING IS

PLACED IN/NEAR THE AREA WHERE NAILS ARE FIRED OUT OF THE TOOL, REGARDLESS OF
WHETHER YOU THINK THE TOOL IS EMPTY OR LOADED WITH NAILS

• Use ONLY air hoses that are

rated in excess of 150% the

maximum system air pressure. • Disconnect the tool from the air supply before

performing any tool maintenance, clearing a jammed fastener, moving the tool to another location, handing
the tool to another person, or making adjustments.

Air Supply

This tool is designed to operate on clean, dry, compressed air at regulated pressures between 70 and 100
PSI (4.8 to 6.9 Bar). The preferred air supply should include a filter, pressure regulator, and automatic oiler
located as close to the tool as possible (within 5m (15') is ideal).

All compressed air contains moisture and other contaminates that are detrimental to internal components of
the tool. An in-line filter and oiler will remove most of these contaminates and provide necessary lubrication
which will significantly prolong the life of the tool. If an in-line oiler is not available, place 10 to 15 drops of air
tool lubricating oil into the tool air inlet at the beginning of each workday.

Do not over-lubricate the tool. Excess oil will be vented with exhaust air when over-lubricated, which
could stain materials. Purge excess oil first before you begin nailing by unloading any fasteners from

the tool, then "firing" the tool several times.

The tool is equipped with a ¼" male NPT type "quick connector". The tool must always be connected to the
air supply with a coupling that allows all pressure in the tool to escape when the coupling is disconnected.

Loading Fasteners

Do not load fasteners of different lengths. • Do not load both staples and nails together.

1.

Disconnect the tool from the air supply.

2.

Pull out the magazine cover (

A

) until it locks in the fully

open position.

3.

Place the fasteners into the magazine (

B

).

4.

Make sure that the fasteners are placed correctly:

Load staples over the rail (

B

) in the magazine.

Load nails down one side of the rail (

B

), with the "L" part

of the head on the rail in the magazine.

5.

Close the magazine cover until it locks in place.

6.

Reconnect the tool to the air supply.
