Using a Bluetooth conference phone

You can connect a Bluetooth conference phone that is approved for use with the
OpenScape CP 600 to your OpenScape CP 600. Pairing and connection works
in the same way as for a headset. Ask your administrator about approved con-
ference devices.

Please activate pairing mode on your Bluetooth device. Please refer to the alerts
in the corresponding operating instructions.

Once the two devices have been successfully paired, the conference unit must
be configured with a parameter in the CP600 so that the call can be connected
and switched to hands free via the speaker button. Otherwise the conference
unit would be operated like a Bluetooth headset via the headset button.

The parameters are found in the user menu under Bluetooth. There you can set
up the paired devices and mark the paired conference facility as such.

Calling a participant

Requirement:

The conference phone is ready for use but

switched off

OpenScape CP600 is in idle mode.

Enter the phone number. The "conference device" switches on automatically.
Once the subscriber answers, you can set up a conference via a consultation or
second call.
