Using the line key in the left panel or on the OpenScape Key Module 600

Press the flashing key for the secondary line on the OpenScape Key Module 600
and use speakerphone mode.

Press the Softkey

and use speakerphone mode.

Line keys not in the left panel or on an OpenScape Key Module 600

If lines are configured in the Favourites menu, calls are only signaled via the dis-
play and Notification-LED.

The phone rings. The caller and the relevant line are displayed. The Notification-
LED flashes.

Answer the call as described in Section "Incoming calls (

Indicating new voicemail messages for a private secondary line

Prerequisite:

The secondary line is configured with shared type private.

A message notification for any of the configured secondary lines with shared
type private is received. The LED of the configured line key flashes red to indi-
cate new messages.

To listen to the new voicemail messages, call the voicemail number on behalf of
the line that received a voicemail indication.

Making calls

You can seize a line before dialing on a MultiLine phone.

Dialing using the left panel or OpenScape Key Module 600

Line seizure can be configured on an individual basis. Your administrator
can determine if the lines on your telephone can be automatically seized
and with which priority.

If you have seized a secondary line, this line is reserved for you for making
calls for a specific period as defined by the administrator. No other user
can seize this line during this period, even if the line is also assigned to this
user's telephone.
