Once the phone has acquired
the link, the call is connected
and you will see:
If a
F key was pressed the
corresponding LED will also
be on steady.
3. When you finish the call, place the Handset back in the Charger
Unit.
AutoStandby automatically hangs up the phone.
—OR—
If the Handset is away from the Charger Unit, press the
talk key
this will hang up the phone and put it in
AutoStandby.
Answering a Call with the Host Telephone
When you receive a call, answer with the Host Telephone as you
normally do.
Completing the Call with the Host Telephone
When you finish the call, hang up the Host Telephone.
Switching the Call on the Host Phone to the
MER 9600C
If the Handset is in the Charger Unit
1. Press
cordless on the Base Unit. The cordless LED flashes.
2. Hang up the Host Telephone. The
cordless and desk LED’s
flash.
3. Pick up the Handset within 20 seconds.
AutoTalk allows you to
now begin your conversation.
4. When you finish the call, place the Handset back in the Charger
Unit.
AutoStandby automatically hangs up the phone.
