Email Tab
This tab helps you set up how you receive email notifications. You may need
to get this information from your internet service provider. (A G-mail account is
a good option.)
FIELD
DESCRIPTION
STMP Server
Mail server address can be IP address and domain name
(if domain name, confirm that the DNS setting is right, then
it can be correctly resolved) e.g.: smtp.gmail.com
Port
Mail server port number (Default = 465)
SSL Check
Provides secure socket layer for login.
Send Address
Mail server’s email address.
Password
Password corresponding to sender’s email password.
Receive
Address
When an alarm is generated, the system will send email to
the specified mailboxes.
No more than 3 mailboxes are available.
Test
Tests whether or not the current configuration is
successful.
