Maintenance

Replacing the Waterproof Handset Battery Pack

Remove.the.four.screws.holdng.the.battery.compartment.
wth.a.screwdrver.and.take.off.the.battery.cover..

Remove.the.old.battery.pack.from.the.battery.compartment.

Lne.up.the.red.and.black.wres.wth.the.polarty.label.n.the.battery.

compartment (the connector only fits one way). Push the connector in firmly; 

you.should.hear.the.connector.clck.nto.place.

Tug.on.the.battery.wres.slghtly.to.make.sure.you.have.a.good.connecton.

Before.placng.the.battery.cover.back.on.the.handset,.check.the.rubber.seal.
located.on.the.under.sde.of.the.cover:.make.sure.that.the.seal.s.n.good.
condton.and.that.there.s.no.foregn.matter.under.the.seal..

Note:.If.the.rubber.seal.appears.warn,.ncked,.or.dred.out,.replacement.seals.
are.avalable.through.the.Unden.Parts.Department..See.the.back.cover.page.
for.contact.nformaton...

Insert.the.bottom.end.of.the.cover.nto.the.grooves.on.the.handset.and.lay.the.
cover.over.the.battery.compartment..Tghten.the.four.screws.securely.

Notes:. •.If.there.s.any.foregn.matter.on.the.rubber.seal.located.on.the.under.sde.of.the.battery.

cover,.the.handset.may.not.be.water.tght.

•.The.rubber.seal.should.be.replaced.every.two.years,.even.f.t.does.not.look.worn.
