Handset Setup
Setting a Ringer Volume
1) Enter the “ Handset Setup ” menu, then the
“ Ringer Volume ” submenu (see “Entering the Menu”
on page 23).
2) Press volume/

or
▼
to adjust the ringer settings ( Ringer Volume Off , Ringer
Volume Low , or Ringer Volume High ). You will hear a ringer or melody at the
selected volume (if you select “ Ringer Volume Off ”, no ringer or melody will sound).
3) Press the OK soft key. You will hear a confirmation tone.

DirectLink Mode
Using the DirectLink Mode
1) Enter the “ DirectLink Mode ” menu (see “Entering
the Menu” on page 23).
2) Press the ENTER soft key to enter the DirectLink
mode . You will hear a confirmation tone, and
“ DirectLink Mode Complete ” appears.
3) To return back to the normal mode, exit the DirectLink mode. To exit the DirectLink mode,
press the CANCEL soft key, then the OK soft key, or return the handset to the cradle.
