.
Abb. 3: Connection
Step 1: Choose the position of the wire rope hoist, so
that objects to be pulled or lifted are in one
plane and in one line with the wire rope hoist.
Observe the freedom of movement of the crank
for the manual operation.
Step 2: Screw down the wire rope hoist with the fixing
screws on the bottom onto an appropriate
beam.
Step 3: Oil the cable before you use it for the first time.
Step 4: Connect the battery-connection cable and the
control panel with the connections of the wire
rope hoist.
8 Operation
Wear protective gloves !
Wear Protective clothes!
CAUTION!
Risk of crushing!
Injuries to hands and fingers may result from
improper use of the electric wire rope hoist.
- Never grasp the cable while the equipment is in op-
eration.
ATTENTION!
The beam has to be designed for the tensile load of
900 kg.
DANGER!
Overloading is life-threatening!
Beams not intended for use with the wire rope hoist
and its load-bearing capacity can give way.
- The wire rope hoist should always be suspended
from suitable equipment which has sufficient load-
bearing capacity to withstand the weight of the
load and the wire rope hoist.
If the load-bearing capacity is exceeded, the wire
rope hoist may fail and the load may fall.
- Only loads which do not exceed the load-bearing
capacity may be suspended.
