Safe working

- When operating the hoist, make sure it is firmly se-

cured or otherwise secured

-  Use tools to hold the workstation, it is safer and 

allows hands free to operate the power tool.

- Make sure you have the right balance and the right 

balance at all times.

- Maintain the tool with care.

- Keep power tools sharp and clean for better and 

safer performance.

- Follow the instructions for lubricating and changing 

accessories.

- Check the electrical wiring regularly and have it re-

paired by an authorized service center in case of 
damage.

- Check the extension cables regularly and replace 

them if damaged. Keep the handles dry, clean and 
free of oil and grease.

- Avoid an unintentional start.

- Do not insert a plugged-in power tool with one fin-

ger on the switch, make sure that the power tool is 
switched off before connecting it to the mains.

- When used outdoors, only use extensions for out-

door use and mark them as such.

- Before using the power tool, the guards or other 

damaged part should be checked carefully to see if 
it is working properly and performing its intended 
function.

- Do not operate damaged, malfunctioning, unus-

ually powerful winds.

- The use of accessories or accessories not recom-

mended in the operating instructions may result in 
injury.

- Have your tool repaired by a specialist.

- This electrical appliance is built in accordance with 

the relevant safety regulations. The repair of the 
electrical device may only be carried out by quali-
fied personnel, otherwise significant risks for the 
user may arise.

General safety instructions

1. Do not operate the hoist until you have completely 

read and understood this operating manual.

2. Never lift more than the rated load specified for the 

hoist.

3. Do not use the hoist with a twisted, kinked, damaged 

or worn load chain.

4. Do not use the hoist for lifting, propping or transporting 

people.

5. Do not use the hoist until the load is centered under 

the hoist.

6. Do not try to extend the load chain or repair a dama-

ged load chain.

7. Protect the hoist from the load chain, spatter, or other 

harmful contaminants.

8. Do not lift the chain hoist if it does not form a straight 

line from the hook to the hook in the loading direc-
tion.

9. Do not use the load chain when tangled or wrapped 

around the load.

10. Do not put the load on the hook tip or on the hook 

latch.

11. Do not apply any load if the load chain is not properly 

seated in the sprocket.

12. Do not work beyond the limits of the load chain path.

13. Do not leave the load unattended on the hoist or 

stand unless special measures have been taken.

14. Do not operate a hoist, unless load slings or other 

approved individual attachments are correctly di-
mensioned and sit in the hook saddle.

15. Carefully pick up the slack - make sure the load is ba-

lanced and that the load holding function is secured 
before proceeding.

16. Disconnect a chain hoist that is malfunctioning or has 

unusual designs. Report such a malfunction.

17. Make sure that the limit switches are working pro-

perly.

18. Warn surrounding persons of approaching cargo.

19. Check the brake function by tensioning the hoist be-

fore each lifting operation.

20. Avoid swinging the load or the hook.

21. Make sure the hook path is in the same direction as 

the controls.

22. Periodically inspect the hoist, replace damaged or 

worn parts, and maintain records of maintenance.

23. Do not use limit switches when routine operation 

stops. They are only emergency equipment.

24. Do not let your attention get completely absorbed by 

the handling of the hoist.
