alarm will sound for a few seconds longer once you have
released the button.
DANGER:
If the alarm sounds when it is not being tested, it
has detected the development of smoke, FULL ATTENTION
AND SWIFT ACTION IS THEREFORE REQUIRED.
Maintenance
Please pay attention to the service life of the battery.
Replace the battery after the prescribed service life (e.g
replace a year-long battery after a year).
Use high quality batteries to prolong the smoke alarm's
service life.
You will ind the operating steps under the section
“Replacing the Battery”.
Replacing the Battery
Replace the batteries according to the information in picture D.
To open the smoke alarm housing on the mounting bracket,
turn it to the left.
Take the used battery out of the appliance and connect a
fresh battery (see picture D).
Place the battery in the battery housing and return the
housing to the mounting bracket to inish (see picture E).
