Internal Source
When the modulation source is internal, the internal modulation wave is a square sine with duty ratio 50%
(built-in and non-adjustable). The frequency of movement between the carrier phase and the modulation
phase can be specified by setting the PSK rate.
2)
External Source
When the modulation source is external, the rate option in the parameter list will be hidden. At this point,
the carrier wave will be modulated by the external wave. PSK phase output is controlled by logical level
on the external digital modulation terminal (FSK /CNT/Sync connector). For example, it outputs the
phase of carrier wave when the logical level of external input is low; it outputs the phase shifted phase
when the logical level of external input is high.
Set PSK Rate
When the modulation source is internal, it can set the frequency of movement between the phase of carrier
wave and modulation phase. When PSK mode is enabled, it can set PSK rate (the range is 2 mHz
~
100 kHz).
The default is 100 Hz. It can be change by multifunction rotary knob and arrow keys or press soft key
Rate
,
and then use numerical keyboard to input number and select unit soft key to complete the setting.
Set Modulation Phase
Modulation phase indicates the phase of the wave that has been PSK modulated which relative to the phase
of carrier wave. PSK range can be set to 0° - 360°. The default is 180°.
It can be change by
multifunction rotary
knob and arrow keys or press
PhaseDev
soft key.
Comprehensive Example
In PSK mode, set an internal 2 kHz, 2 Vpp sine wave as a modulating signal, set the phase of the carrier wave
and modulation phase moves at frequency of 1 kHz at last, the setting steps as follows.
