Before mea su r i n g curre n t , che c k the Mete r’s fuses
and turn off po w e r to the circ u i t before con n e c t i n g
the Mete r to the circ u i t .

Repla c e the bat t e r y as soon as the bat t e r y indic a t o r
appea rs. With a lo w bat t e r y, the Mete r migh t
produ c e false readin g s tha t can lead to ele c t r i c
sho c k and perso n a l injur y.

When servi c i n g the Mete r, use only the same mode l
numb e r or iden t i c a l ele c t r i c a l spe ci f i c a t i o n s
repla c e m e n t part s.

Turn the Mete r off whe n it is not in use and ta ke out
the bat t e r y wh e n not using for a long time.
