•
Push the end of the vacuum hose with the coupling into the container. Using hose coupling screw the brush
head assembly on the other end of the hose. Connect one end of the abrasive substance supply hose
(with the coupling) to the air supply. Connect the other end of the hose with the coupling to the abrasive
substance outlet pipe.
Note:
The ideal operation pressure is 793 kPa. DO NOT USE pressure higher than 965 kPa.
•
Your machine is now assembled and ready for use.
Operational instructions
•
Use protective helmet, respirator, protective gloves and protective working clothing.
•
Set the air pressure on the air supply compressor to 793 kPa. (You may set different pressure - higher or
lower, based on the surface you will be cleaning).
•
Connect the air supply hose coupling to the inlet on the pistol handle.
•
Connect the power cable to the wall outlet.
•
Aim the pistol at the surface to be cleaned and turn on the switch on the vacuum head.
•
Hold the pistol with one hand and with your other hand hold the brush handle.
Note:
Do not place the brush on the cleaned surface! The brush only protects the abrasive substance from
spraying away and keeps the vacuuming cycle closed so the abrasive substance may be recycled.
The brush IS NOT designed to help you clean the surface.
•
Move both hands in the required direction to clean the rust from the surface before performing the final
finish.
To change the size of the blasting beam turn the nuzzle adjusting nut to extend or shorten
the length of the nozzle.
•
The brush has been designed for straight surfaces, edges or corners.
•
Before starting your work spread the hair of the brush so it will not cover the blasting beam. (The abrasive
substance will wear out the brush hair eventually).
•
If you blasting an automobile door for example, we recommend to place the brush hair around the edges to
increase the vacuum and coverage. It is also safer and the surface quality is better.
•
After finishing your work lift the vacuum head and take dust out of the filter.
•
After about 1 hour of work, lift the vacuum head up and blow the dust away.
•
When blasting right angle corner aim the pistol at 45 degree angle to reach the most inner part of the fold.
Use slow circular motion during blasting to achieve best results.
•
When you finish your work release the two clamps, empty the dust reservoir and store the machine in safe
and dry place.
