1) By means of the standard 6V dc battery pack. The unit can work continuously for about four
hours under ideal operating conditions.
The
"POWER ON" (2)
LED indicates that:
⇒
power to the unit is on when LED lights up.
⇒
power to the unit is getting low (on account of the battery becoming flat) when LED blinks.
⇒
power to the unit is unavailable when LED is off, even if
"POWER ON/OFF"
switch is set
to ON (battery is flat).
2) By an external source of DC power from 12 to 16 VDC capable of providing at least 240 mA
current to apply to the
“EXT DC IN 12÷16 V”(4)
input jack. The
"PWR ON"

LED lights up
to indicate that the power supply is available and the unit is operating.
3) By means of a 230 Vac mains, through an external power supply (BCH 15/0.9) connected to
the
“EXT DC IN 12÷16 V”(4)
input.
The same power supply (BCR 15/0.9) may be used to recharge the internal battery, just insert the
plug into the
"EXT DC IN 12÷16 V"

input.
Recharging is quicker when unit is off, slower when unit is on.
