Note: the first 2 badges associated with DIFRA after the MASTER badges
are reserved to hotel staff. These badges do not permit room access when
“do not disturb” is on. They cannot be eliminated with the single badge
elimination procedure but only with the “reset badge” procedure.
Badge reset
In the event of badge loss, cancel the entire DIFRA memory and re-
associate badges. Proceed as follows:
Place the “MASTER 1” badge against the reader. As soon as the
“

led blinks green, remove the “MASTER 1” badge and near the
access
“MASTER 2” badge. This sequence eliminates all saved badges except
for “MASTER” badges.

The actuation of the electric lock may cause "voltage spikes", which may
cause the device locking. In order to avoid this inconvenience, it is advisable
to connect the supplied varistor to the terminals of the 12V~ electric lock (as
shown in picture 1), or a diode for the 12Vdc locks (picture 2, not supplied).
