C. Select a suitable location for the camera. Install the camera
stand or mounting bracket in the selected location using a
suitable fastener. The camera stand or mounting bracket
must be attached to a structural object, such as a wall stud
or ceiling rafter, that supports the weight of the camera and
mount.
D. The KC5300 camera has a threaded mounting hole on the
bottom and top of the camera housing to allow for bottom or
top mounting. The ¼"-20 UNC threaded mounting hole
attaches to the bolt on the camera stand or mounting
bracket.
NOTE:
Do not aim or point the camera toward the sun or
into a strong light.
E. Attach a CS-mount lens directly to the front of the camera
lens mount (back focus ring). If a C-mount lens is used,
attach the supplied C -mount ring adapter directly to the
focus ring. Then attach the C-mount lens to the adapter.
