1.2 Warnings for the correct product use

WARNING

Before beginning the installation, check the mounting compatibility of the UC120 cylinder to the engine used.

DANGER

Do not modify the steering cylinder in any way to fit it to your engine application, otherwise the cylinder will no

longer operate in safety and it will endanger the boat and the occupants.

WARNING

All INTEGRA steering systems must not be installed on boats equipped with engines whose maximum horsepower

is higher than the horsepower rating approved by boat manufacturer.

WARNING

ULTRAFLEX

hydraulic steering systems must not be installed on race boats.

DANGER

It is forbidden to disassemble the components which are supplied preassembled to avoid compromising the

product integrity.

1 PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

1.1 INTEGRA system

UC120 series hydraulic cylinders have been designed to be used exclusively with INTEGRA systems.

The INTEGRA system essentially consists of one or more hydraulic cylinders equipped with electronic components

controlled through a data network managed by a special power unit.

The INTEGRA system can have two main configurations: EPS or JS.

The INTEGRA EPS version envisages the use of an electronic UC120E cylinder combined, in the case of several

engines, with a UC120P-OBF hydraulic cylinder and coupling bars (see par. 1.3.1), all managed by a single control

unit.

The INTEGRA JS version, which can be used with two or more engines, provides for the use of two UC120E electro-

nic cylinders in combination with one or two dedicated coupling bars depending on the configuration of three and

four engines (see par. 1.3.2). Each UC120E cylinder is managed by a dedicated control unit.

For a complete description and other information on the INTEGRA system, refer to the "INTEGRA Installation

Instructions" supplied.

Configurations

WARNING

UC120E cylinder is supplied in starboard version ONLY, while the UC120P-OBF cylinder is supplied in port version
ONLY and this configuration cannot be modified. In case of use of coupling bar use ONLY those indicated in the
following configuration diagrams.
