3 MAINTENANCE

3.1 Ordinary maintenance

WARNING

In case of disassembly of the self-locking nuts and of the C and H elements (see the pictures above), they must

be replaced. (please contact our technical service department).

(See paragraph "Introduction").

2 Periodically wash the components with fresh water in order to remove any salt deposits.

Poor installation and maintenance may result in loss of steering and cause property damage and/or personal

injury.

1 After the first 10 working hours and afterwards periodically check that the bar is intact and that the con-

nections are tightened:

A: 8,5 [Nm] (6,27 [lb∙ft])

B: 23 [Nm] ( 16,96 [lb∙ft])

C: 95 [Nm] (70 [lb∙ft])

D: 3 [Nm] (2 [lb∙ft]).

E: 40 [Nm] (29,52 [lb∙ft])

F: See step 6 paragraph 2.2

G: See step 6 paragraph 2.2

H: 24,6 [Nm] (18,14 [lb∙ft])
