7.1 By means of a 22 mm wrench loosen ring nut
(18) of the bar to be adjusted (or both if necessary)
holding it still with a second wrench on the end
element (19).
7 ADJUSTMENT OF THE DISTANCE BETWEEN CENTERS WITH INSTALLED BAR
If during the use of the boat it is necessary to vary the distance between centers of the engines (i.e. the angle
of divergence or convergence), proceed as follows.
WARNING
Before carrying out the following operations, it is mandatory to turn off the engines and operate in safe conditions.
7.2 Using a 22 mm wrench act on one of the end ele-
ments (20) or (19) and carry out the adjustment of the
bar length.
7.3 Once the adjustment has been carried out, tighten again
ring nut (18) using a 22 mm wrench with a tightening torque
of 40 [Nm] (29.52 [lb ∙ ft]) by means of a second wrench on
the end element (19).
WARNING
Check if the engine can also tilt independently and in different
steering positions.
CAUTION
In no event shall the bar and/or its connections constitute a
limitation to the steering allowed by the installed steering
system and to the lifting of the engines.

DANGER
If the ring nut is not tightened while using the bar, this can cause dam-
age to people or things.
WARNING
Check if the engine can also tilt independently and in different steering
positions.

of the engines.
