Maintenance Point
The following should be performed
every 10,000 miles or 6 months:
1.
Inspect for proper operation.
2.
Inspect, in particular, the coupling area. Replace when the
wear exceeds 1/8” from the original surface profile.
3.
Inspect for worn, damaged, and missing parts. Replace as
required.
4.
Always use a safety clip.
5.
Check the
ball’s torque specification after the first 200
miles of towing and every 400 miles after that.
