Ultimaker Customer Service instructions
Remove the fan
1. Place the fi lter housing assembly with the fan
guard facing upwards
2. Use the 2.5 mm hex key to loosen
the four M4x45 screws
Tools:
2.5 mm hex key
3. Lift the fan guard and four screws out of the
fi lter housing and place them aside
Tip:
Alternatively, take out the screws one by one.
4. Turn the fi lter housing over and remove the
front part to expose the fan
5. Lift the fan out of the back part of the
fi lter housing
Note:
Please share the fan’s batch number, as shown in this
photo, with your support contact. Ultimaker is collecting
data on aff ected fans.
6. Disconnect the fan cable from the PCB
Note:
Do not touch the PCB while disconnecting the fan.
