1 Overview
The UfiSpace S9700-23D is a high-performance, versatile, open disaggregated core and edge
router. It provides 400GE high speed Ethernet ports that supports that can be
used for data center interconnect or enabling a more efficient DWDM network. It also has
fabric ports that is used to form a distributed disaggregated chassis (DDC) cluster. Whether
used as a standalone router or in a pay-as-you-grow cluster, the S9700-23D enables service
providers to meet the high traffic loading in 5G application scenarios. In the past, monolithic
chassis was the only solution for carrier aggregation and core networks, now, the S9700-
23D serves as a 400G IP Edge supporting high-bandwidth services or as a high speed and
reliable switching clusters for the 400G core backbone.
With redundant power supplies and fans together with a high port density design, our
S9700-23D delivers high system reliability, Ethernet switching performance and intelligence
to the network and helps reduce infrastructure and administrative costs.
