SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
If the supply cord is damaged it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in
order to avoid a hazard.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental

Place the appliance on a flat even surface
The mains connection cable must not be tangled or wrapped around the product during use.
Do not use the device, or connect and disconnect to the supply mains with the hands and/or feet wet. Do
not pull on the connection cord in order to unplug it or use it as a handle.
Do not place the appliance near the hot source or in a hot oven, as serious damage could result.
Burns can occur by touching hot surface of the appliance, the hot water, the steam or the food.
Do not move the appliance when it is full of liquid or hot foods.
Always unplug the appliance immediately after use, when moving it or prior to any cleaning or mainte-

BEFORE ITS FIRST USE
Remove all packing materials and stickers from the inside and outside of the appliance. Clean the
appliance as per as cleaning section.
WARNING: Never immerse the appliance or its plug in water or any other liquids.
Use the appliance for cooking rice and keeping it warm after cooking. Do not use the appliance to cook
soups or other dishes.
COOKING RICE
Use the measuring cup to measure the desired amount of rice you want to cook.
Add water into the cooking pot.
Note: The ratio water/rice is important: 1 measurement of rice correspond to 0.2l of water.
The marks on the cooking pot can also help you to determine the amount of water that should be
added (Mark 1: water level for 1 measuring cup of rice).
Place the cooking pot into the cooker.
Put the lid onto the cooking pot.
Press the cooking switch button and the cooking pilot light will light on.
Important:
During the cooking process hot steam escaped from the steam hole. Do not open the lid during the
cooking process.
Once the rice is cooked, the switch will pop up.
The cooking light will light off and the keep warm indicator will light on. Now the appliance enters
automatically in keep warm mode.
ONCE YOU HAVE FINISHED USING THE APPLIANCE:
Turn the appliance off, using the on/off switch.
Unplug the appliance to the mains.
Leave the appliance to cool down.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• Ensure the appliance is unplugged and cool before cleaning.
• Empty the water tank and clean it with a damp cloth.
• Measuring cup and spatula are dishwasher safe.
• Never immerse the housing or its plug in water or any other liquid.
• Warning: Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or scouring pads.
• Gently wipe down exterior with a damp cloth or paper towel.
• Dry all parts thoroughly before storage.
• Store the appliance in a cool, dry place.
