Trouble Shooting
Below is a list of common problems you may run into while operating your Set Top Box.
Please carefully read the list below.
The STB will not switch ON. None of the LEDs are ON.
Check the connection of the external power supply PSU at the wall socket and ensure it is
switched ON. If it is connected correctly the Green power LED on the power supply should
be lit. Check if the power jack on the STB’s rear panel is securely connected. Try another
power point.
No channels found on start up
Go to Restart and Factory reset.
Check Smartcard is correctly inserted.
Check the Satellite Status Bar (dish correctly pointed).
No picture
Check if TV and STB are ON (not in standby mode).
Check that all of the cable connections to the STB and TV are secure.
Check that the TV has the correct input source selected (TV, AV1, AV2, HDMI...).
No sound
Check the mute button on the TV or STB, to restore the sound press the mute button again.
Check the volume is not turned all the way down. To increase the volume, press the Vol+
button.
Check connection of the Audio cables to the STB and TV / Home Theatre.
Remote control does not work
Check if TV and STB are ON (not in standby mode).
Check that your RCU LED Light lights up when a button is pressed, if not, change your
batteries.
If the RCU LED Light lights up RED:
Check that there are no obstructions between you and the STB, aim directly at the STB, and
not the TV, and then try again.
