WZ-600 + PZ-600
The MICRO-600 system has two working modes that can be selected through the "ALARM / NORMAL" switch (23),
located on the rear panel of the WZ-600.
QUICK OPERATION GUIDE
MESSAGES

1. Working in “NORMAL” mode
- Set the "ALARM / NORMAL" selector (23) to the "NORMAL" position.
- The paging output (19) is both used for operation with 100V line and 0dB signals. See diagrams on pages 11 and
13.
- Mixed output (17) is used for music and paging signals, both for operation with 100V line and 0dB signals. See
diagrams on pages 12 and 14.
- Allows the diffusion of the selected musical source on the front panel of the WZ-600 (1) to the selected zones (2)
also on the front panel of the WZ-600.
- Messages can be launched from the PZ-600 desk as described in section 7 of this quick guide.
- From the PZ-600 desk you can launch the message # 3 as described in section 5 of this quick guide. This
message has priority over messages 1 and 2.
1. Working in “ALARM” mode
- Set the "ALARM / NORMAL" selector (23) to the "ALARM" position.
- Only the signal of warnings (19) is used as signal of warnings and messages.
- It is not possible to broadcast music.
- The diffusion of messages 1 and 2 is activated throught the contact closure of the desired message on the rear
panel of the WZ-600 (20). The message will be broadcast to all zones in general, regardless of the ones we have
selected on the front panel of the WZ-600 (1)
- Only messages to all zones can be lauched from the PZ-600 desk, it is not possible to do so by selecting zones.
- From the PZ-600 desk you can send message # 3 in general, not being able to do it by selecting zones. This
message has priority over messages 1 and 2.
