OPERATION

Input the fiber into the fiber

insert entrance.

HFM1

Inspect with the eyepiece and

press on the on/off LED switch.

(Illumination)

Adjust the focus control to find

the clearest viewing.

INNER STRUCTURE

NOTE

The two settings on the handheld fiber microscope provide an excellent view of the ferrule end

faces. We recommend 400x magnification for single-mode and 200x magnification for multi-mode.

Do not use the Handheld 400x Inspection Microscope to view active fiber signals. Active fiber signals

contain high-powered laser light and can seriously damage the eyes.
