5. Safety Features
Pilot lamp
This appliance is provided with a pilot lamp to indicate that it is switched on. When
not be used, the heater should be switched off and unplugged from wall outlet.
Overheating protection
The appliance has an internal over-temperature safety device, which
automatically switches the heater off if the maximum temperature is exceeded. If
the heater switches off, unplug the appliance and wait until the unit cools off. Then
you can switch it on again.
Polarized Plug
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than
the other). As a safety feature to reduce the risk of electrical
shock, this plug is intended to fit in a polarized outlet only one
way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug.
If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not
attempt to defeat this safety feature.
6. Cleaning
6.1 Always un-plug the heater from the outlet and allow it to cool down before
cleaning.
6.2 Clean the outside of the heater by wiping with a damp cloth and buff with a dry
cloth.
6.3 Do not use any detergents or abrasives and do not allow any water to enter
the heater.
7. Storage
When the heater is not used for long periods of time, it should be protected from
dust and stored in a clean, dry place.
