Selecting the location

Installing the unit in one of the following locations may cause malfunctions. If unavoidable,
please consult Customer service for advice.
1. A location with strong heat sources, vapours, flammable or explosive gas, oil, sulfur gas,
or volatile objects in the air.
2. A location with high-frequency devices (such as welding machines or medical equipment).
3. A location in close contact with salt spray (coastal areas).

1. There should be no obstruction near air inlet and air outlet.
2. Select a location where the condensation water can be dispersed easily and won't
affect other people.
3. The location should be able to withstand the weight of unit and won't increase noise
and vibration.
4. Select a location where the noise and outflow air
will not affect your neighborhood.
5. Select a location out of reach for children and away from animals or plants. If this is
unavoidable, add fence for safety purposes.
6. The air conditioner must be placed close enough to an electric socket to be plugged in
without an extension cord.

1. Follow national & local electric safety regulations when installing the unit.
2. Make sure the power supply matches the requirements of your air conditioner.
Inadequate power supply or incorrect wiring may result in electric shock, fire hazard or
malfunction.
3. Make sure the live wire, neutral wire and grounding wire in your power socket are correctly
installed (contact a qualified electrician).
4. For your safety, always cut off the power supply at the main panel before starting any
electrical work.
5. Do not
plug
the air conditioner in the socket before finishing installation.
6. The air conditioner is a first class electric appliance. It must be properly grounded at all
times. Never modify, alter or remove the grounding prong on the plug.
