Safety requirements
The device complies with Class I of electrical safety.
Before connecting the chest freezer to the electric power network,
make sure that
–
the network voltage corresponds to the value given on the
device nameplate (+10%, –15%);
–
the power cord and plug are not damaged.
The chest freezer must be connected to a grounded power supply
socket. Do not connect the freezer to a power supply with a faulty
overcurrent protection. Check this before starting the installation process.
Do not use any adapters, additional sockets or extension cords that
do not match the current load of the device.
If there are signs of faulty wiring (smell, smoke), disconnect the power
supply to the device and call a service technician to remedy the fault.
It is forbidden to operate the
chest freezer:
•
if the nominal supply voltage indicated on the nameplate deviates
by more than + 10% - 15%.
•
in case of high level of humidity and dustiness of the environment
(relative humidity above 75%, when ceiling, walls, floor and other
objects in the room are covered with moisture);
