Battery box
After one or two years, the capacity of the battery will reduce and must be replaced. A new battery is commercially available.
1. Switch off the battery box via the “SYSTEM OFF” switch and disconnect this from the solar module and the pump.
2. Unscrew the 6 screws on the underside of the cover of the battery box and remove the cover.
3. Undo the cable connections from the battery and replace this with an battery identical in construction.
4. Connect both cables to the battery again with the correct polarity, i.e. the terminal of the red or brown cable at the positive pole (+) of the battery and the blue cable at the minus
pole (-).
5. Close the housing again in the reverse order.
6. Connect the battery box with the solar module and the pump again.
7. Switch on the battery box again via the “SYSTEM ON” switch.
