Maintenance
1.
Keep your Lift dry, protecting it from wet, corrosive environments.
2.
Periodically lubricate the Lift’s moving parts.
3.
Periodically check that all of the Lift’s hardware is securely fastened.
Note: If the Lift does not work to full capacity, you may have air in the hydraulic system.
Bleeding and filling the Lift with hydraulic oil.
1.
Place the Lift on a flat, level, solid surface.
2.
If just filling the Lift, open the Oil Plug (see FIGURE 3) on the Power Unit Assembly
(22), and check the oil. Fill to the top with a high quality hydraulic oil if necessary.
3.
If bleeding, with the Oil Plug removed, turn the Upper Handle counterclockwise and
pump it ten times. This will bring all the air out of the system. Fill the oil reservoir with
a high quality hydraulic oil if necessary. Turn the Handle clockwise and pump the
handle; the jack should raise. Then turn the Handle counterclockwise; the jack should
fall.
4.
Replace the Oil Plug.
5.
Test the Lift. Make sure it is functioning properly before attempting to lift another load.
If not, repeat the above process.
