1. Move stop bolt on rate gauge assembly to desired
setting. Tighten to secure in place. (See Figure 9)
NOTE: The further forward the stop bolt
is positioned, the more material will be
dispensed.
2. While pushing spreader forward, push control lever
forward to open shutoff plate and dispense material
from hopper.
3. To stop dispensing material, pull lever back to close
shutoff plate.
4. When finished, empty any remaining material from
hopper.
5. Thoroughly wash spreader and dry before storing.
A light coating of oil will help prevent corrosion.
