3.23 Platform Lock Pin Kit
Kit Number E0-00-1-079 (serial # up to and
including 0304999)
Kit Number E0-00-1-206 (serial # 0305001
and onwards)
Tools:
Pliers
Wrench, open end 8 mm
Phillips #2 Screwdriver
Allen Key 2 mm
Allen Key 4 mm (2x)
Cutter
Crimp tool
Loctite Adhesive #242 (1312)
Small Rod (diameter 15 mm)
Figure 32 refers to Seat model E0-00-1-060,
Figure 33 refers to Seat model E0-00-1-201.
1. Close the Seat in the folded down posi-
tion (for the model with a lock, which is
situated on the upper left hand side of
the Seat: lock it)
2. Cut the Cone End (32-M, 33-D) from the
Cable (31-C) and remove Cable
3. Thread the Bottom Lock Pin (31-A) and
Spring (31-B) onto the Bottom Lock Pin
Cable (31-C)
4. Thread the Cable through the Bottom
Lock Pin Housing (31-D)
5. Thread the Cable Backstop (31-E) onto
the Cable and screw it into the Housing
so that approximately 3 mm. of thread is
still visible and tighten it
6. Thread the Bottom Lock Cable Guide
(31-F) onto the Cable and thread the
Cable Guide through the Cable Sleeves
(31-G)
7. For Seat model E0-00-1-060:
a. Thread the Cable Guide through the
Cable Guide Bracket (32-H)
b. Thread the first Cable Lock (32-J)
onto the Cable and thread the Cable
through the Cable Bush (32-K)
