Appendix III: Installing the SMDC Card

The following provides you with the information on installing 
M3291 SMDC card into a PCI-E slot in your TA26 B5383 sys-
tem.

1. Locate the TX/RX and RTS/CTS switch jumpers (J3 and 

J4) on the SMDC card, and place the jumper caps to 
close pins 5-8.

2. Secure M3291 on a CMPT-0060 low profile bracket 

(P/N:342763200001) as shown.

3. Connect the 2x25 pin SMDC cable to M3291 as shown.
