Remove the two screws securing M1229-PT HDD

backplane to the chassis base.

Step 3:

Lift the M1229-PT HDD backplane kit from the chassis.

Step 4:

Replace a new M1229-PT HDD Backplane and reinstall it

into the chassis following the above steps in reverse.
