5. Insert the memory module into the slot as shown.
The locking levers will fall into position.
Note:
You may have to push one end of
the memory slot firmly into place before eas-
ing the other end into position.
6. Ensure that the locking levers are firmly in place and that
the memory module is properly seated in the slot.
Note:
Each bank memory of sockets is
associated with one CPU. Memory will be
recognized only when installed in a socket
associated with an installed CPU.
Note:
When installing memory, install the
first module in CPU0_DIMM_0 or
CPU0_DIMM2. For best performance, bal-
ance memory modules equally between
CPUS.
