IMPORTANT TO KNOW
Your blender contains two blades, one for blending
and the other one for grinding. Please ensure you
use each blade properly for optimal results and to
avoid damaging the appliance.
Please note that these two blades are compatible
with all of the containers provided : the big jar, the
bottle and the small container.
Note that it is important to screw the different
pieces tightly in order to avoid leaks. However, the
elements can also jam if you screw to hard. Please
be careful in this process.
CAUTION WARNINGS
1. Before use, make sure that the voltage of
your wall outlet corresponds to the rated vol-
tage indicated on this appliance.
2. Do not operate this appliance with a da-
maged cord or plug. Do not operated it either
after any malfunction, if it’s been dropped
or damaged in any manner. Return the ap-
pliance to the nearest authorized service
facility for examination, repair or electrical or
mechanical adjustment.
3. Do no let the electric cord hang over the
edge of a table or counter, and don’t let it
touch hot surfaces.
4. To protect against electric choc, do not ever
use this appliance with wet hands, do not
pour any liquid on it and do not immerse it
in any liquid.
5. This appliance is not intended to be used by
persons (including children) with reduced
physical sensory or mental capabilities, or
lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruc-
tion concerning the use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety.
6. Children should be supervised to ensure that
they do not play with or touch the appliance.
7. Be particularly careful when the appliance is
in operation, never leave it unattended.
8. Do not place this appliance on or near hot
surfaces such as hot gas.
9. Do not use the appliance outdoors.
10. Never operate the appliance when the bowl
is empty and do not remove the cup lid be-
fore the blades are completely stopped.
11. Unplug the blender form the outlet when not
in use, before assembling or disassembling,
and before cleaning.
12. This appliance contains blades. Blades can
cause serious harm and damages. Be extra
careful when manipulating the blades, espe-
cially when removing them from the bottle,
when emptying the bottle or during cleaning.
13. Keep hands and utensils out of the contai-
ner while blending to avoid any risk of severe
injury to yourself or damage to the blender.
14. To reduce the risk of injury, never place cut-
ter-assembly blades on the base without the
jar being properly attached.
15. .Always operate the blender with the cover
in place.
16. Always operate the appliance on a flat sur-
face.
17. Never use any attachment that is not listed on
this instruction manual. The use of accesso-
ries not recommended by the manufacturer
may cause a risk of injury to persons.
18. Do not blend hot liquids.
19. Do not store the blades in the containers, it
may seriously damage the appliance.
20. Do not turn on the appliance if pieces are in-
side the container.
BLENDER FUNCTION
1. Place the blender jar on a flat surface, screw
the blade base and open the cap
2. Fill the blender jar with your favorite ingre-
dients. Please observe the maximum level
indicated on the blender jar.
3. Place the cap on the cover lid and place the
cover lid on the jar. This blender is equipped
with EK1 security which means, if the cap
and the cover lid are not perfectly positioned,
it is impossible to put the jar on the base.
