3.3 Operation Instructions
WARNING
Before connecting to local AC mains check and make sure to use
correct AC power to the power supply.
Connect the protective grounding conductor of the AC power cord to an
earth ground to avoid electrical shock.
Switch off all switches.
3.3.1 Power On
Press the POWER button to turn on the power supply, the LED display will display model number
and version. And the CPU will recall the last panel settings, because the panel settings have been
memorized into the EEPROM each time after power off.
3.3.2 Voltage Setup
In standby mode or output mode, press VSET button to go to voltage setup mode. Press key “
︿
” or
“
﹀
” to adjust the voltage value.
In output mode, the low range voltage can be set at any value between 0V to 150V, and the high
range voltage can be set at any value between 0V to 300V. If the desired output voltage is over the
low range, first switch to high range and set the desired voltage.
Press key “
︿
” or “
﹀
” and hold, the digits will be cleared to “0” from right to left, starting from the
decimal digit. Keep holding the key “
︿
” or “
﹀
”, the voltage value will increase or decrease step
by step in very duration of 0.3 second. Each step is 0.1V. After the decimal digit reaches full value,
it will automatically go to the next digit at same step. When it goes to the hundreds digit, the step
speed is 1 step in every 0.1 second.
If the voltage setup has no operation within 2 seconds, the voltmeter will flash and the voltage setup
will be memorized. The meter will display the new voltage value and exit voltage setup mode.
3.3.3 Frequency Setup
In standby mode or output mode, press FSET button to go to frequency setup mode. Press key “
︿
”
or “
﹀
” to adjust the frequency value.
The frequency value can be set at any value between 40Hz to 120Hz. If the optional part 40~500Hz
is selected, the frequency value can be set at up to 500Hz. Between 45Hz to 99.9Hz, the fine
adjustment step is 0.1Hz/step and the coarse adjustment step is 1Hz/step. Between 100Hz to 500Hz,
the fine adjustment step is 1Hz/step and the coarse adjustment step is 10Hz/step. Other settings
apply the same as voltage setup.
3.3.4 High and Low Voltage Switch
The output voltage has two ranges: high range and low range. In low range, the rated output current
