TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

SOLUTION           

PROBLEM

MODELS:  23EF025GRA, 28EF025GRS & 33EF025GRS

1. No power, logs do not glow

2. Logs glow, but no flame effect.

3. Down lights (28EF025GRS & 

    33EF025GRS only) do not light up.

4. Heater does not blow warm air.

5. Heater doesn’t work, but Power 

    and Heater settings are "ON" and 

    thermostat is set (see solution 4a.)

1a. Check that unit is plugged into a standard powered 120V outlet.

1b. Press power button several times, make sure power is set at "ON" position.

4a. Adjust the thermostat to ensure that the temperture is set higher 

      than the current room temperature.

5a.Turn the POWER to "OFF" and unplug the unit from the wall outlet for 5 

     minutes. After 5 minutes plug the unit back into wall outlet, 

     and operate as normal.

2a. Press flame button several times.

3a. Press downlight button several times to make sure downlight is "ON".

6.  Flame effect works but heater

    function does not and the emberbed 

    flashes when the heater button is 

    pressed.

6a. Heater function is locked. Press and hold the POWER button for 10 seconds to 

      unlock the heater function.
