Network switches
Your Pathfinder network requires its own dedicated network. As Pathfinder uses multicast, you must
place it on its own VLAN or dedicated switches.
The network switch must fulfil the following specifications:

The Pathfinder 500 series requires a 1 Gigabit switch, with true port-to-port transfer rates of 1
Gigabit/second.
▪
Network switches must support IGMP snooping and IGMP snooping must be switched on.
